He was convicted for armed robbery in the Netherlands, sentenced to death by hanging, then dissected by Amsterdam Guild of Surgeons, lead by doctor Nicolaes Tulp, a dutch surgeon and the City Anatomist. Later, he became ...the Mayor of Amsterdam!
